Michael was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and has been working in film production since his early teen years. By the age of twenty-five, Michael had written and directed four feature-length films that had traveled the world from festival to festival gathering several awards. His most notable films include, “Coasting”, “Darren & Abbey” and “Two Days in February”. In 2009, Michael graduated in the first inaugural class at Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy in Chicago where he majored in film producing. In addition to his career as an independent filmmaker, Michael also directs for the stage in the Chicagoland area. “I Made America” is a very exciting and challenging project that has brought together an incredible amount of talented and dedicated individuals to make up a team in which Michael is proud to be a part of.
